A Day with Grandpa and Grandma Potter

Since today was a holiday we got to spend the whole day with my parents. We went to Helper Utah first to see the Western Mining and Railroad Museum. It has a replica of what a coal mine looks like underground and lots of artifacts from the early 1900's to show how the local people lived in the Coal Camps.

These wooden steps are the actual steps that Butch Cassidy walked up to rob the Castle Gate Pleasant Valley Coal Company payroll.

After the museum we went to Huntington Lake to ride jet skis...Grandma took everyone for rides and then the kids went over to the dock to catch crawdads aka mud bugs aka crayfish.

After we got back Grandpa got out his motorcycle and gave everyone a short ride!
