Lagoon...Fun in the HOT Sun.

We have Lagoon Season passes this year again and we have loved being able to go to the park for several hours and then head home.  There is no pressure to "get your money's worth," since we can come back anytime.  But we went with Wendi and she had to get her money's worth and use bounce back too.  So we spent two fun hot filled days at Lagoon with Wendi and her two kids.  It was fun to see the little kids reactions to some of the bigger rides.  Kylie would tell us if she liked the ride or not.  She would say no she didn't want to do it again.  But she was one brave two year old for all the rides we took her on.  My kids loved getting to show their little cousins around or getting to take Aunt Wendi with them to ride the big roller coasters.

Tristan loved taking Kylie on the rides while Aunt Wendi was with Kayla riding roller coasters...I was just happy to sit and supervise.

A Summer Evening of Music!

Patrick was lucky to have three beautiful ladies with him.
We got tickets to the Mormon Tabernacle Pioneer Day concert compliments of my sister!  We love when Wendi comes to town her mother in law gets us tickets to the events that have been sold out.  What a wonderful evening of music with the Mormon Tabernacle choir, Lindsey Stirling a violin player and Nathan Pacheco.  Look up Lindsey Stirling on youtube...the videos are pretty entertaining of her playing the violin.  We got to spend a wonderful evening with Wendi and Kayla what a uplifting evening and after the moon and lights were so pretty.  If you want to check out the concert it's at the following web address:  http://www.mormontabernaclechoir.org/videos?lang=eng

My Crazy Sister!

My crazy and wonderful sister decided to take all my kids and her two kids to This is the Place Monument Park.  I had a eye doctor appointment for a Lasic screening in SLC so she braved taking them all.  She ended up with only 3 of my kids and her two kids.  Dillan decided hanging out with his friends was funner than little cousins.  They spent the whole afternoon exploring the exhibits, even Grandma Potter came up. They got to ride the ponies, the train, pet the emu's and other animals, make Indian necklaces and pan for gold.  I think my kids favorite was panning for gold...even if it was only fools gold.

When they got home all I heard about was getting to pet the Emu's that were small ostriches.

My Favorite Sister!

Cute Wendi and kids post church....wearing her new Birthday Dress
Wendi and her family came to visit us several times in the month of July...Our first visit we went to the Tree house in Ogden and then she was brave and took 5 kids to This is the Place Monument all by herself.  Maybe she was trying out if she really wanted that many kids.  I think we may have cured her.
Kylie loved our dog and kitty.  She would follow Roxy around everywhere.  I found them under the computer desk too.
We went to the Treehouse Children's museum in Ogden and they let us in free for being military.  We even tried to pay for my sister and kids but they let her in to play with us.  I love companies that honor those that serve.  And it was such a fun place for the younger kids.

Music room...good thing those drums stay there!

Kylie was a wee bit tired and slept through the whole trip!

Giddy up!  Huge rocking horses that didn't need money as Tristan said.

Friends Reunion!

Sarah and Dan Bryant
We had a High School friends reunion at Buca di beppo.  We all ordered food to share and had a great time catching up.  I have been trying to get together with some  people for two years since moving back to Utah.  Wow lots changes after 20 years!
