Thanksgiving!

 We had a great Thanksgiving feast at the Groebs and Uncle Steve.  Thanks for hosting us Kerry and Natalie.

 The kids loved playing together downstairs. 

 And the adults visited!

Random Novemeber Happenings

 Pat took the kids rock climbing at the Base gym...they loved it.  As you can see Mikayla is a monkey

 Over Thanksgiving weekend we went to Price to see my parents.  Just down the road is the shooting range...so Patrick and my Dad took the kids shooting.  I was terrible about taking pictures so this is the only one.  We also went up Indian Canyon to my parents cabin to get a Christmas tree.  As you can see below it is the typical Potter tree with LOTS of character. 

And no matter what you do the top of the tree is just crooked!  Thus our angel will be tilted all season.

On our trip to St George, we spent lots of time with Patrick's family...Dillan and Branden and Derek Langston

Zion's National Park

 We went to Zion's National Park this weekend while we were down in St George visiting family.  It was so pretty with the colorful leaves and red rocks.  We went on several hikes and the best part was the great weather and free entrance into all National parks this weekend. 

 

We also saw lots of deer and wild Turkeys!

 Bison Roundup.

It is quite sad that I grew up in this state and even lived in Davis county for a few years but it took 37 years to go to this place...We went to the Bison Roundup and to Fielding Garr Ranch on the Island.  The kids loved seeing the Bison herded down the chutes to get their vaccinations and check up.  It was freezing and the wind was blowing so we didn't stay to long.

 Mikayla was so thrilled we let her use "the knife" to carve her pumpkin herself she did three of them in one day.  We had pumpkin guts and seeds everywhere. 

 Patrick's Halloween Party at Work...they had a costume contest so the kids all went up.
