Frist Day of School!

Today was the first day of school. We are all excited and nervous. I hope they have fun. Kayla just couldn't believe she didn't have to wear a uniform and she could pick out her own outfit. Dillan was just happy he didn't have to tuck in his shirt.

Note the new short haircut. Mikayla wanted short hair to get rid of those awful tangles.

This is our new home. We had only seen pictures on the internet. Just to make it fun, the moving truck beat me to the house by 15 minutes and had already started to unload and was asking me where I wanted things. They had to wait a minute while I checked it out first. Nothing like driving 12 hours on a Sunday and getting in at 1:00 a.m. and then getting up to go move into your house at 800 am Monday morning. Note the previous picture should explain that problem. Now most of the boxes are cleared out and we are feeling a little settled especially since school started today.

Moving, What Fun!!

Moving seems to getter harder and take longer with each move. How did we get so much stuff...must be all those kids right. I really am grateful the AF pays for a moving company to come in and box and load all your belongings. Now if they could just unpack and put it all away too..:)

As we were getting our house ready to sell/rent, Pat was so excited to be able to do all the last minute projects he hadn't been able to do since his first shoulder surgery. The pile of tree limbs is the evidence of all his hard work. Good thing the Louisiana garbage men haul almost anything away.
