Weekend at Grandma Potter's

The highlight of going to Grandma Potter's is the DOGS!  Everyone wants to walk the dogs, hold the dogs or play with the dogs...I guess we should get one of our own.  It is just so hard to pick one I can stand.:) 

 The fun for the adults was playing with babies.  Carrie blowing bubbles for the babies.

Opening presents Christmas Eve morning...it was quite entertaining to watch the two babies try to open gifts.  They weren't really interested until they could see the toy.

Visiting Santa!

At the ward Christmas party the kids were able to visit with Santa and they were really happy to tell him what they wanted for Christmas.  On the way out of the church, Tristan was looking on the roof of the church for Santa's sleigh and the reindeer.  We also got to watch Wendi's cute kids...baby Kylie and Carter so they came to the party with us.  Carter was especially excited about his candy cane but not Santa.

Christmas Eve Tradition...just a day early.

 Grandma and Kylie trying to get warm right after we got to the cabin....by the end of the night it is so hot in the cabin we open the door.   Every year my parents and the Taylor's go to their cabin and snowmobile on Christmas Eve and have a turkey dinner.  We haven't been in years so it was so fun to go this year and have lots of us home for Christmas.  We were wondering if we would be able to use the snowmobiles since there wasn't any snow on the way up...but there was plenty of snow on top of the mountains

Christmas Tradition or Torture?

Every year we decorate a ginger bread house as a family and every year I lose my mind but the kids love it.  ...to many hands and only one Mom to help direct.  The kids kept laughing at me while assembling the walls because we hot glued them together instead of frosting.
