Driving to Powell...

Our deluxe accommodations.

The first day it rained so Grandpa is trying to fix the Bimini top to keep the water out of the boat.  What we affectionately call low quality Potter construction...note the duct tape.

I was tired after the drive down...yes I can pretty much sleep anywhere.

We spent 4 fun filled days at the lake with all my family.  It was filled with lots of swimming, kayaking, jet skiing, knee boarding and skiing.   Plus lots of great company and fun.

Oh I did forget that the kids loved fishing...I hate it and actually attempted once to remove the hook from the fishes mouth and was unsuccessful since none of the experts were around to free the stupid thing.  Good thing Aunt Summer and Kayla came to help the poor fish or he would still be stuck to the end of a fishing pole.

The kids loved to ride the "whale" board...the kneeboard that is so big you can easily fit two kids on it!

We loved the jet skies.  They provided lots of fun rides and Uncle Mike got to pull the tubes and knee boards for hours every day.

We did lots of water skiing and wake boarding...We all love it since we grew up going to Lake Powell 8 to 10 times a summer.
