Jamestown, Virgnia Living History Museum

We went to the Jamestown Settlement Living History Museum. It has a museum about the people and colony that started at Jamestown. But the best part is outside where they have a Powhatan Indian village you can climb in Indian huts, make rope, or skin a deer hide. They also have three replicas of the boats that brought over the colonists to Jamestown, the kids could climb all over the boats and ask the actors questions about how things worked. The last area is James Fort where the colonists lived for the first couple of years before moving inland to Williamsburg. Here the kids could look around the fort, learn how the people lived and cooked. They also go to try out some armor and see the different type of artillary the colonists used.

Mariah, Dillan, Mikayla and Tristan on the replica of Jamestown's boats.
