Austin, Texas...

We went to Austin, Texas to tour the city with Brett...he really wanted to go and wanted company so he got his grumpy sister to come along.  Our first stop was the Tower of Junk...the kids loved it...Even Alex loved it.  He adopted all the buses and cars he could pick up.  Basically it is one man's backyard where he has collected junk for several decades that people drop off and he makes sculptures out of it...of course he had to recently get a building permit and haul off  40 tons of "junk" to get up to city code.

We went to South Congress street that is lined with all different kinds of food trucks...they serve up some of the best food in the city.  And then we went to downtown to walk along the river.
