We also went to the Spouting Horn Blowhole. The Poipu surf channels the water into a natural lava tube here and releases a huge spout of water during large swells. You’ll also hear a hiss and a roar.
And more of those pesky chickens and roosters in the parking lot...the kids had to chase these ones too!
Old Koloa Town has this crazy old tree they call the Monkeypod Tree.
Stop by the Koloa History Center to learn about the town’s sweet heritage. Then cool down with an island-style Lappert’s ice cream cone under the shade of the large monkey pod trees. We did just what the book recommended...checked out the historic area and then had a local made ice cream cone.
The kids playing around in the barber chairs..
This was a daily activity for Tristan...once we were back from the days outing, he went swimming every night. And he couldn't of drowned if he tried.
I love Hawaii. Looks like you had a great time. Even if you did have to take the red eye.
