Capital Reef National Park

We went to Capital Reef National Park over Fall Break or UEA as it used to be called in Utah.  The kids loved all the hikes and holes they could climb in.   On our first day we hiked Capitol Gorge to the Pioneer registry, petroglyphs and the "tanks".
 Petroglyphs on the canyon wall
Hiking in the gorge...this used to be a road they traveled along until the 1930's to Hanksville.
All the kids loved climbing and hiking along the canyon walls.

Tristan is still not sure if he likes heights...he was a little nervous.
Mariah crawled in every hole possible and yelled take my picture.

The "Tanks"...basically a hole full of water

Homestead in Fruita, Ut....the National Park now owns all the old homesteads and fruit trees.  You can pick your own fruit for a small fee.
Fruita, UT one room school house...the kids favorite part was the snake on the teachers chair.
