We went for a Hike in John Bryan Park in Yellow Springs, Ohio. The trail went along a small river and had bridges. It was very pretty and I think all the kids had fun until about the last 1/2 mile of a 3 mile hike. Tristan just stopped and sat down and refused to go until I carried him.

Mom, Mikayla and Dillan

A fallen tree..note the kids are fresh and happy. Taken prior to the hike. We had 9 kids and two moms. Whew we are nuts.

Finding the Geocache box. The kids loved looking for it but it was another lady that found it. But the kids had a great time exchanging treasures in the box.
How fun! I wish it would cool off here so we could spend more time outdoors!
ReplyDeleteWhat was in the box?
ReplyDeleteI need to hike three miles. That would do me some good - but not with nine children. You girls must have lots of energy!!
ReplyDeleteIt is a geocache and people leave a log you can sign for finding it. And there are treasures you can exchange so like little plastic toys or stuff like that.
